KYC Application Rejection Reasons

Your KYC application may be rejected if the submitted documents do not meet our compliance and security requirements. Common reasons for rejection include:

  • Incorrect document type: A document that does not match the required type was uploaded (for example, submitting an ID instead of a passport, or an address proof instead of a selfie).
  • Expired document: The submitted document (passport, ID card, driver’s licence, etc.) is no longer valid.
  • Illegible or blurry image: The text or photo on the document is unclear, out of focus, too dark, or poorly captured, making verification impossible.
  • Scanned document submitted: Scanned copies or photos of a screen are not accepted. Only live, original photos of the physical document are allowed.
  • Improper framing or alignment: The document is too close, cropped, partially covered, or tilted, causing some information to be cut off or unreadable.
  • Photo manipulation detected: The document appears to be edited, tampered with, or digitally altered in any way.
  • Mismatch of information: The information on the document does not match the data you provided in your application (for example, name, date of birth, or address).
  • Low-quality or incomplete selfie: The selfie is blurry, too dark, does not clearly show your face, does not include the ID when required, or your face does not match the photo on the ID.
  • Invalid address proof: The address document is outdated, does not show your full name and address, or appears to be a screenshot, cropped image, or forged document.
  • Outdated or unsupported ID format: An old version of a national ID, or a document that does not contain the required security features (such as a chip-enabled or machine-readable card), has been submitted.

What to do next

Please carefully review our KYC document requirements and resubmit your application with valid, clear, and unaltered documents that meet all criteria. This will help ensure a smoother and faster verification process.

If you are unsure which document you should provide, you can contact our support team for further guidance before resubmitting your application.
